5. Shivam Mavi
The KKR roster included three outstanding talents from the 2018 U-19 World Cup squad. Despite the departures of Shubman Gill and Kamlesh Nagarkoti throughout the years, KKR retained Shivam Mavi despite his recurrent injuries.

The right-arm seamer could also bat a little but was released by the team because they thought he was overpaid. Mavi got 11 wickets in nine matches in the 2021 tournament, with an economy of 7.24. He was expected to be the team’s main bowler once more. However, he was unable to recreate his performance in IPL 2022, as Mavi routinely handed away 30+ runs while taking only four wickets in the first five matches.
As a result, the team’s decision to part ways with Mavi in search of a replacement player to bolster their fast-bowling arsenal next season comes as no surprise. Meanwhile, Shivam Mavi has recently played for Indian Team and done a fair job as well.
