8. Deepak Chahar
Deepak Chahar, the Indian bowler, enjoyed a career comeback with CSK under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. Chahar was struggling to make a name for himself on the Indian domestic circuit, but Dhoni’s belief in his ability as a swing bowler helped him establish himself as an important player for CSK. Chahar’s outstanding new ball performances and ability to capture wickets in powerplay overs won him a position in the Indian team. He has subsequently become a regular component of India’s T20I and ODI squads, and his career has taken off since his time with CSK.
