Rahul Tripathi, a middle-order batsman, joined KKR in 2018. In his rookie season, he contributed several helpful innings for the squad and was projected to be a significant contributor in the future. However, he was released by KKR prior to the 2021 season and was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has now become a regular member of the SRH playing XI and has contributed some match-winning innings to the team.
